For a nation, socio-psychological attacks are more dangerous than nuclear weapons.Centuries ago, many parts of
Bharat —the world's most advanced and civilized land [^1], were repeatedly enslaved by tyrannical forces. They first destroyed Indians'
sense of cultural pride. Libraries were burned, spiritual scientist
(yogis, Sikh gurus, etc.) were brutally murdered in public places, burned alive, and boiled alive, and Gurukuls were banned.
Having lived and worked in many countries,
Pandit Shri Sumit Sharma and
Mr. Sunil Dahiya realized that once again,
covert and subtle systematic attempts are being made to tarnish the glorious reputation of
yoga and
Indian culture, aiming to halt India's rapid progress and rob it of its resources.
This is a socio-psychological attack
whose primary target is yoga professionals. It includes Yoga Teachers, Therapists, Practitioners, Coaches, Sportsmen, Yoga Promoters and
specially the Yoga Businessmen. The attack is not on the teachers themselves, but on
their mindset and
their abilities to earn (Monay, Fame & respect) —to make Indians doubt their heritage and consider Western influence superior.
This conspiracy is part of the same old strategy, glimpsed in Lord Macaulay's letter to the British Queen: "I saw a country where I did not find a single beggar, a single homeless person, or a single old-age home. We can never conquer it! Unless we break its backbone, which is its cultural heritage. To this end, I propose a new education policy to be implemented, which will instill in Indians the mindset that anything that comes from abroad is superior to their own (India)."
The Indian Yoga Protectors Association was established to create this cultural protective shield, so that every yoga professional can carry forward their heritage with dignity and security.
